Thailand’s Department of Business Development (DBD) is preparing stricter regulations to prevent foreign investors from using Thai nationals as “nominee” shareholders to register businesses. The new order is expected to be announced in mid-March 2026 and take effect on April 1. Authorities say the measures aim to close legal loopholes and create fairer competition for Thai businesses. Officials estimate that over 80% of companies with partial foreign ownership may involve nominee arrangements, prompting stronger scrutiny and documentation requirements. Violations could lead to up to three years in prison and fines of up to 1 million baht.

Absolutely. We use high-speed fiber optic internet, perfect for video calls and 4K streaming. Strong WiFi covers both apartments and the pool area. It’s the ideal setup for a tropical home office.

Are there good restaurants and shops nearby?

Rawai is the culinary heart of Phuket! Within a 5-10 minute walk, you’ll find everything: from fresh seafood and local Thai spots to European cuisine and cozy cafes. You don’t need a taxi to enjoy a great dinner.

What about cleaning and towels?

We’ve got you covered. We provide a full set of towels and fresh linens. For stays longer than a week, cleaning and linen change are included

Do I need a scooter to get around?

It’s not strictly necessary, as the beach and shops are within walking distance. However, if you want to explore the whole island, a vehicle gives you freedom. You can rent a reliable scooter or car directly on-site with us – safe and convenient.

Can I cook in the apartment?

Yes, this isn't a typical hotel room. Both apartments feature kitchens equipped with a fridge, hob, and utensils. If you prefer not to cook, a 7-Eleven and plenty of local street food are just a 2-minute walk away.

Is the apartment and area safe?

Rawai is a very peaceful and friendly neighborhood. The villa grounds are gated and monitored (CCTV) for your peace of mind. Plus, each apartment has a safety box for your valuables, though you likely won't even need it.
